Hearing Induction Loop Systems

The PRF225 is a portable wireless alternative to the Induction Loop system.

These systems can be used in rooms of up to 225 square metres in situations where the use of standard induction loop systems is not suitable. These are where close proximity of systems allows loop signals to over-lap and interfere.

The use of the portable PRF225 allows up to three systems to be used simultaniously in close proximity without interaction of signals.

A phantom powered boundary microphone is placed close to the audio source ( meeting table, lectern etc.). This is then connected to the system modulator and transmitter unit.

The system transmitter unit then transmits the modulated signal on a choice of 3 UHF radio frequencies to the user's receiver.

The receivers can be used with either a stethoset or a neck-loop hearing device to interface with the hearing aid.

An unlimited number of receivers can be used with each system - one receiver provided with each system.

Inputs provide: Microphone signal for clear pick up of the spoken word together with audio input and connection to television or video for AV presentations.

A heavy duty case is provided to facilitate ease of storage and portability, along with simple set up, user instructions and equipment specifications.

A system transmission sign is supplied for display when the system is in use.
